Some very pretty holes but quite hilly for a course called the Roman Road! Greens were fast and a lot of sloping up approaches to the greens made it hard to get on the greens in regulation but still a good golfing challenge and a course I’d play better the second time.

Similar to the Monty course, this course shouldn't have been open when we played at the end of March. The fairways were soaking, everything got plugged to the extent that we lost some drives which were down the middle of the fairway. Lost my shoe again a couple of times as it got stuck in the soaking group.

Very nice course with great views. Some lovely holes. Some boggy fairways but not too bad. Big sloping fast greens in good condition.
