Whittlebury Park Golf Club offers 36 holes of fantastic championship golf made up of four sets of 9 holes, guests are welcome to play different combinations to make up 18 holes or simply enjoy a quick round of 9 holes. The golf club has a rich history as at one point it formed part of the Royal Whittlewood Forest, which is home to red deer and was once a Royal Hunting Forest.
The Royal Whittlewood course is cleverly integrated into the natural landscape and plays around the remaining parts of the ancient Royal Whittlewood Forest. The area has an abundance of flora and fauna, which made the forest a favourite hunting ground of Medieval Kings.

The Grand Prix course runs alongside the famous Silverstone Racing Circuit and features a number of water hazards, undulating fairways and interesting approaches to the greens.

The Wedgewood Course is a shorter and less testing course perfect for beginners or those looking to improve their game whilst enjoying a relaxed round of golf.

The hotel was dated but comfortable in all aspects. Staff were very friendly. Due to the size of the hotel, we were a long way from the facilities, but that didn’t make too much of a difference as everything was signposted fantastically. Beds were really comfortable and dinner and breakfast were superb.

Our Society (28) had a really enjoyable three days at Whittlebury Park. We were surprised at how big the venue is. The three 9s that we played are beautifully laid out with plenty of room on the fairways but craftily defended by water, bunkers and undulating greens. A great challenge for all golfers. The hotel is a little dated but the rooms are big with comfortable beds and a good shower over the bath. The Paddock annex is quite a walk, especially if you are carrying your clubs back to your room. We had two dinners and the food was very good; the service was excellent. The drinks were priced about the same as my local pub - much better value than some other venues that we have played. Overall, my view is that the venue is excellent and I would recommend it.

The hotel facilities and spa were very good. The food overall was enjoyable and good quality. This was only partially let down by the evening meal starters which were very underwhelming. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The complex itself is enormous.

Everything about this hotel is spot on. The staff are fantastic and are always there to help but do so without being intrusive. Very friendly and very helpful. The room was extremely comfortable with good size beds and are spotlessly clean. However, if you are less mobile than others, I would suggest you specifically ask for a room near the facilities as this is a big hotel. Bara and restaurants were again spot on. The main bar in the hotel is very comfortable and reasonably priced for a hotel. The bar at the clubhouse is big enough to hold a few societies and serves a good selection of drinks and food, including the best pastry sausage roll I have ever had. For the price, you will be hard pushed to find better. The golf course is very well maintained and is good for all level golfer. Overall, a great venue that I am looking forward to revisiting soon.

Apart from an extremely slow round on our first day and the weather, the course played well. Open fairways meant we could have a shot on most holes. Fair amount of water made it challenging, but greens were superb.

The three 9s were all good and of differing difficulty. Bunkers and water are well, strategically placed and the greens have subtle undulations. We found the pace of the greens to be a bit slow but given the amount of play and it’s now October, that’s probably not too surprising. Overall, it’s a good challenge for the average club golfer.

The 3 golf courses were in good condition and enjoyable, the only downside is the constant droning noise from vehicles around silverstone race track that borders the golf course.

Excellent. Enjoyed every single hole and it is a very picturesque course also. There are challenging bunkers and water to make the round even more interesting and the greens were extremely well maintained. 5* overall.

I have selected average difficulty…but some holes were very hard! The ladies enjoyed being able to play the three courses and they were varied enough to suit all handicaps so that everyone achieved some measure of success. The general response was a very positive one. However, we all felt that the signage could have been clearer in places so that transition to the next tee would be a little easier. All the staff were so helpful..thank you!

Could not fault the course at all. Some challenging holes but overall it suited our standard of golf perfectly. The whole course was in immaculate condition Especially considering the dry weather we have recently had. The whole group said that they would play here again and would certainly recommend the course and venue to other groups who are thinking of taking a trip to play somewhere. The staff were very accommodating even allowing us to use the starting hut as a safe place to store our clubs overnight
