Palheiro is ideal for holiday golf, as it is a manageable proposition for the average golfer, whilst it also presents the low handicappers with something to think about. In 2003, the course was revised slightly, with two new holes being added to reinforce the par-72 championship layout, while the club was also boosted with the inauguration of a six hole academy course.
