Hacienda Riquelme Golf Course

Hacienda Riquelme, as part of the renowned Nicklaus Golf Trail, was designed by the great Golden Bear, and takes full advantage of the magnificent Murcia landscape. The region stakes claim to the highest number of annual sunshine hours in continental Europe, and the Nicklaus Golf Trail presents the perfect chance for an escape to the sun.

Going hand in hand with the excellent resorts at La Torre, Mar Menor and El Valle, the course at Hacienda Riquelme is a Spanish gem. With the completion of the second nine holes, Hacienda Riquelme has been confirmed as one of the region’s best, and is a true highlight of the Nicklaus Golf Trail.

Stunning course, very long with bunkers everywhere. Personally if your high handicap don’t play this course as too hard?

Great visual course and all in good nick but way to many bunkers per hole & pins were last day at the masters type 😆 some bunkers not in best condition but unsurprising given so many of them

An enjoyable course to play, quite long in places. The greens and fairways in good condition, a few of the bunkers out of action due to the recent storm.

Skinny course with a high rough where you can easily lose a ball or two. The greens were very sandy, still recovering from being hollowed a few weeks earlier. There wasn't a clubhouse for food or drink afterwards.

No facilities. Caddy shack on course. No pro-shop. Bar facilities were dreadful like a transport cafe and shared with on site residents who had booked all the outside table for dinner. The course was very similar to the others
