• A 2 course venue where both feature within Scotland's 75 ranked courses
• The Rosemount course was founded in 1889 and was later extended to 18 holes by Alister MacKenzie in 1914
• The Lansdowne course was designed in the 1970's by Dave Thomas and many consider it more challenging to its older sister course

Panmure Golf Club

Carnoustie, Angus

• Layed out by Old Tom Morris in 1899
• Often used for Open Qualifying for its nearby neighbour Carnoustie
• It was here in 1953 that Ben Hogan first played links golf in practice for that years Open Championship in Carnoustie which he would go onto win by 4 shots

Monifieth Golf Links

Angus

• There are 2 courses at Monifieth the leading Medal course and the secondary Ashludie course
• The medal is used for Qualifying for the Open Championship when at Carnoustie
• An often under-rated classic links course

Montrose Golf Links

Angus

• Considered by many as the 5th oldest club in the world with golfing being played here since 1562 but the first golf club wasn't formed later until 1810
• It is the 3rd oldest Royal golf club in the world
• The course as you would expect is a traditional links layout with tight turf, gorse and deep pot bunkers
